Q: Do you provide a delivery service?

A: Often, in the case of smaller components such as Fireplace beams our customers feel able collect their products personally from our premesis in Sussex. However Oakmasters are pleased to be able to organise the transport of long-distance orders or bulky goods by lorry for an additional fee.
Q: Where should finished oak components be stored?

A: It is best to shelter the timber from the rain, especially if it has been fumed or polished. If a beam has undergone fuming it is important to avoid 'pools' of water forming on the surface since this will affect the colour and leave marks.
